'Signs of Life'

COLLECTION

"Across an immeasurable universe of stone, metal and light, the unassuming leaf is one of Earth’s most tender signs of life. Created in ink and water, these imagined portraits hold their own weather of colour, transformation and beautiful imperfection. Each one is a small record of what it means to be alive."

I invite you to take a closer look at each of the artworks and read their description to find out more about each piece.

Made of Every Mile

Every vein, colour and weathered mark traces a path through a life in motion. Luminous yellow and green move across the leaf like changing landscapes, while its brown markings hold the memory of places travelled and experiences carried.

Made of Every Mile celebrates the fullness of a life shaped by every season: sunlight, growth, difficulty and change. Each journey leaves its mark, and every mile becomes part of the intricate beauty of who we are.

The Brilliance of Being

Bold, luminous and unapologetically present, The Brilliance of Being is a celebration of existing fully as oneself. Its vivid magenta radiates from the leaf, while every mark, irregularity and missing piece becomes part of its magnificence.

Our marks, losses and imperfections belong to our brilliance. They shape us into our own singular selves, giving each life a beauty that could belong to no one else.

We are here to be exactly ourselves.

Lit From Within

At the threshold between what it has been and what it will become, a leaf blazes with a brilliant expression of life. Its fading browns are illuminated by vivid yellow erupting from the green, as though the light within is being released into something new.

Lit from Within is a celebration of the energy held within transformation. Even as one form falls away, its beauty and vitality continue, rearranged into another way of being.

Look at This Leaf!

Look at This Leaf! holds the unfiltered excitement of noticing something small and suddenly recognising it as extraordinary. Vivid pink and luminous green make the familiar impossible to overlook, blazing with intricate marks, veins and movement.

In a world that repeatedly pulls our attention towards what is frightening and bleak, this work turns our gaze back towards beauty. It is a childlike invitation to stop, look and allow ourselves to be astonished by the life already in front of us.

No Small Thing

No Small Thing asks us to come closer. Within its intimate scale, a landscape of deep green, luminous yellow and earthy brown unfolds through an intricate network of marks and veins. This single leaf seems to contain a tree, an island and a whole world of its own.

The work celebrates the significance held within the things we so easily overlook. Vastness has nothing to do with size. Even the smallest encounter can hold extraordinary beauty and change the way we see the world.
