ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This intricate black and white drawing captures the powerful presence of a tree anchored deeply into the earth. The composition centres on the tree’s wide, textured trunk and its exposed roots, which twist and grip into a rocky slope, as though holding on through time and weather. The detail invites close study, each mark thoughtfully rendered to show both strength and vulnerability. Above, a dense canopy of leaves stretches outward, offering a sense of protection and quiet authority, while the forest behind fades gently into a misty, ethereal backdrop softly sketched, creating contrast and depth without competing for attention.
The artwork speaks of resilience. Of being grounded even as the terrain shifts beneath. There’s a quiet persistence in how the roots cling to the uneven rock, suggesting endurance in the face of instability. It's both a portrait of a tree and a metaphor for inner steadiness, growth, and trust in one's foundations.

The greatest care is taken to package your artwork so that it is well protected for international transit. It will be packaged flat in a thick and sturdy box with lots of padding. The artwork itself is placed on a backing board inside a cellophane sleeve and then wrapped in paper. All packaging and art materials are as natural as could be achieved and are biodegradable.
