About the artwork
Fruition is a reflection on growth, readiness and the things that cannot be hurried.
A tree does not rush towards fruit. It sends its roots in search of water, turns its leaves towards the light and quietly gets on with the work of becoming itself. In doing so, it creates the conditions from which fruit can eventually emerge.
There are seasons in our own lives that ask the same of us. We can work, tend, learn and grow, but some things will only become ready when they are ready. Trying to force an outcome cannot replace the time and conditions required for it to mature.
Perhaps patience is not simply the act of waiting, but the practice of returning our attention to what can be tended now.
Fruition is an original hand-drawn artwork in ink on paper, measuring 28 × 38 cm
DELIVERY
The artwork is carefully and beautifully wrapped and packaged by the artist and shipped from the United Kingdom.
Included in your order will be:
A certificate of authenticity.
A hand written letter and small gift such as small prints of past works.
A pair of cotton gloves for handling your new original artwork.
The greatest care is taken to package your artwork so that it is well protected for international transit. It will be packaged flat in a thick and sturdy box with lots of padding. The artwork itself is placed on a backing board inside a cellophane sleeve and then wrapped in paper. All packaging and art materials are as natural as could be achieved and are biodegradable.
The artwork packaging will be beautifully embellished with pressed flowers and a gold wax seal. If sent as a gift please leave a note or email the artist so that the handwritten letter can be addressed to the recipient instead of the name on the order.
Artwork is normally dispatched in 2-4 days but please allow up to 2 weeks for dispatch (if required quickly this can be arranged. Please email to make arrangements with the artist).
Shipped internationally using DHL Express, shipped locally to the UK using Royal Mail Special Delivery.
